Choosing the Right Shampoo and Treatment Ritual
14 October 2020Hair Oils: instructions for use
14 October 2020The Leonor Greyl Institute offers advice on applying
the Crème aux Fleurs, a great color protector,
combined with dry hair and sensitive scalps
What are the benefits of the Crème aux Fleurs?
Used in hair care treatments in the most beautiful spas around the world,
this multi-benefit cream was created in 1973
as the precursor of the low poo trend.
Formulated with a blend of the most soothing plant extracts such as chamomile,
garlic, sage, botanical proteins to hydrate, or detangling seaweed extracts for
the unruliest manes.
Formulated without silicone, sulfate, paraben, this cult treatment with very gentle
cleansing agents is second to none in hydrating very dry hair, enhancing color or
bringing an instant feeling of well-being to sensitive scalps.
How to properly apply it for a professional result at home?
Both a shampoo and a deep treatment, the Crème aux Fleurs is applied to dry hair.
If the hair is fine, apply the cream only at the roots.
If they are thick or very damaged, apply it over the entire length.
Massage the hair to distribute the product thoroughly, then allow yourself
a moment of relaxation for 10 to 20 minutes to let the cream absorb into the hair.
During this time, you can cover the hair with a plastic film and a warm towel
to promote the penetration of the active ingredients.
Avoid putting the towel directly in contact with your hair so that it does not
absorb the cream.
Before rinsing your treatment, add a little product at the roots to facilitate the emulsion.
The rinsing step is crucial: a good emulsion and a thorough rinsing are the key
to a successful treatment !
Gradually add small amounts of water at the roots, while massaging the hair,
until a fine foam appears.
Rinse thoroughly until the hair creases between your fingers.
Once perfectly rinsed, the hair becomes soft, shiny and easy to comb!
For what types of hair?
This treatment is particularly recommended for the maintenance of colored or curly hair
and to relieve sensitive or irritated scalps.
It can be preceded by an application of Huile de Leonor Greyl to deeply hydrate the lengths
and ends.
Applied just after coloring, Crème aux Fleurs helps soften hair damaged with chemical treatments,
soothes the scalp and fixes the color.
In the case of psoriasis, itching or dandruff, the Crème aux Fleurs can be mixed with
the Bain Traitant à la Propolis to achieve a soothing treatment.
