STYLING CARE AND UV PROTECTION: PROTECT YOUR COLOR FROM THE SUN
26 October 2020TAKING CARE OF YOUR HAIR IN WINTER
26 October 2020Holidays, a special time when you want to let go and relax.
Stéphan, our expert hairdresser, offers you four summer
looks that are easy to adopt on the beach or in the city.
THE WET LOOK
Hair is shiny and looks like you just came out of the water. Two options: short, they are
fully glossed.
Longer, the lengths are left dry or they are glossy and pulled back into a ponytail.
Step by step:
– On damp hair, apply a dab of Eclat Naturel. Heat the cream between the palms
of the hands and apply on the length and ends.
-Then mix a small amount of Gel à l’Hibiscus with a dab of Eclat Naturel that you
spread over the top of the head and temples.
-Place the hair backwards with a comb for a perfect finish. Gel à l’Hibiscus is alcohol-free
and won’t dry out the hair.
With its botanical oils, Eclat Naturel protects the hair from the effect of the sun.
If the hair is very damaged, which can be the case at the end of summer, you can
replace the Eclat Naturel with the Huile de Leonor Greyl for a more in-depth treatment.
THE BEACH WAVE
This effect mimics the hair of female surfers after a day in the sea. The lengths wave in the wind.
Step by step:
-On dry hair: spray Algues et Fleurs on the lengths.
-Separate the hair into six strands and twist them together and let them dry naturally.
-Next, warm a dab of Baume de Bois de Rose in the palm of your hands and crumple
the lengths with your fingers.
RED CARPET BRAIDS
They were on the minds of actresses and models as they climbed the steps in Cannes last May.
The bun braid
Step by step:
-Blow-dry hair by first applying Mousse au Lotus Volumatrice for texture.
-Divide your ponytail into four or five braids and roll into a ball with an elastic band.
The hairpiece braid
Step by step:
-Blow-dry hair by first applying Mousse au Lotus Volumatrice for texture.
-Split the ponytail in half.
-Remove a small strand from the right strand and pull it back over to tie it with the left strand.
Do the same on the other side.
-Take a strand from the back of the left strand and bring it back into the opposite strand,
and so on.
For a “beach back” effect, loosen your cob braid by pulling the strands slightly outwards.
THE CHIC OF THE SCARF
To protect your color from the harmful effects of the sun, or simply to give a chic
summer look, you can tie a scarf on your head or twist it into locks.
Step by step:
-Spread a little Sérum de Soie Sublimateur on the length and ends to moisturize them.
-Wedge the scarf in the elastic band of the ponytail to prevent it from slipping.
-Make a set of twists and braids by incorporating the scarf and bring it back in a bun.
